I was blessed as a child to grow up and see so many amazing places and cultures. My father grew up on the Navajo reservation where my extended family still runs a trading post. My mother is from Germany, the Bavarian town of Nurnberg where I got to visit often as a child. In Gunnison Colorado at 19 I met Paul. We were together for 27 incredible years. We raised two daughters, Gabriela and Josy. Paul and I are now divorced and our daughters are amazing young women. I’ve lived in Colorado, Utah, Germany, Ecuador and Florida. The cultures and people of all these places where I was blessed to spend time have shaped and informed me. My experiences taught me ways of being in relationship with the land, people, water and weather that I am forever indebted to. I look forward to sharing my love for all of it with everyone who puts foot on this special land where the old, ancestral ways are welcome.
