November 17 @ 5:00 pm - 10:30 pm
We gather together as the days become shorter and colder to be together and for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Before the Thanksgiving Potluck some will be chosen to give The Thanksgiving Address on behalf of our people. The Address was given to the world from the Native people known as the Haudenosaunee of the North East. It is appropriate for all, no matter what race, religion or creed on behalf of the human people.
“The Address is based on the belief that the world cannot be taken for granted, that a spiritual communication of thankfulness and acknowledgement of all living things must be given to align the minds and hearts of the people with Nature and each other. This forms the guiding principle of culture
It was Jake Swamp’s original vision that this Address would go out to the children of the world.” – John Stokes, The Tracking Project
All are welcome to stay for the monthly community fire immediately following
